When Trinity Seven Season 1 first came to our screens on October 8th 2014, fans went wild, and with good reason. The anime show, based on the manga of the same name written by Kenji Saito and illustrated by Akinari Nao, delivered great characters, romantic tension and some genuine comedy that stayed true to the original manga.
The first season of Trinity Seven introduced us to Arata, a regular guy in a regular town whose life is turned upside down when he realizes that the world he’s living in is actually an illusion, and is crumbling all around him because of something called the Breakdown Phenomenon.
After his cousin Hijiri disappears, Arata knows he has to become a mage in order to save her, and so he arrives at the Royal Biblia Academy. This is when we’re introduced to the epnymous harem: The Trinity Seven.
These seven mages each possess special powers that they use to help train Arata to become the powerful mage he needs to be, in order to defeat the evil force that has taken Hijiri.
Cast and Characters
As is the case with a lot of anime shows, fans couldn’t decide if they wanted to be Arata with his harem of Trinity Seven mages, or one of the mages themselves! Each of the characters comes with their own personalities and quirks that develop over the series. We learn that each of the Trinity Seven represents one of the seven deadly sins. Coincidence? Of course not!
Here are a handful of the most important of the cast:
Arata – Cheerful and confident, he joins the Royal Biblia Academy to train to become the most powerful mage he can be. But of course, he gets distracted by the beautiful Trinity Seven, and who can blame him?
Lilith Asami – An academy teacher who encourages Arata to become a mage and is his fiercest ally.
Arin Kannazuki – A member of the Tinity Seven who seems to be Arata’s most promising love interest for Season 2.
Levi Kazama – Top fighter and many fans’ favorite character, Levi is pretty sure about naming herself in the top three of the world’s strongest people.
Master Biblia – The character we most love to hate, the creepy headmaster seems to have far too much of an eye for his female pupils, or is he hiding an even darker side?
Where is Season 2?!
We’ve been asking this question ever since the final episode of Season 1, and the crazy thing is that we still don’t have an answer.
That’s not because people didn’t like the show. In fact it’s the very opposite. The show was such a big hit that since Season 1 aired we’ve had two spinoff movies, so there’s clearly an audience hungry for more.

There have been rumor circulating with the ending in the 2nd Trinity Seven Movie hinting at a possibility of another season. So we could see the new season as early as late 2021, but nothing is official and we’re still waiting.
One thing’s for sure: we’ll be right here when it finally appears!
