Say goodbye to the iron chin of the previous generation iMacs and say hello to more screen space with smaller bezels. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg<\/a> expects the next iMac to pull heavy inspiration from the Pro Display XDR monitor released in 2019.

You can expect the next iMac to have a completely flat back, that\u2019s quite a difference from the curvy rear we\u2019re used to on the current model. Previous rumors have described the new iMac having the same design language as the new iPad Pro.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The previous models has had the same design for almost a decade now, with the last refresh being 2012 due to the limitations of the display and hardware. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo<\/a> the 21.5inch will get bumped up to around 24 inches thanks to the smaller bezels and the new Apple Silicon.
